"Antique BVI Map" Matted Print 11x14"

This antique map depicts the British Virgin Islands with the profiles of some islands as seen when sailing from St Croix. The map comes matted in an off white mat size 14" x 11".

Anegada was called the 'Drowned Island' as it was almost entirely covered by the sea at spring tides. The dangerous reef to the east is marked as 2' - 6' deep. Treasure Point on Anegada was so called by Freebooters from the gold and silver supposed to have been burried there abouts the Wreck of the Spanish Gallion.
