Tihara Smith founder of fashion, accessories, and lifestyle brand inspired by the Caribbean and the Windrush Generation. The Windrush generation is so called after the arrival of the ship Empire Windrush in 1948 to the UK, that carried more than 800 passengers from the Caribbean.The Windrush Generation paved the way for future generations of Black British Caribbeans,who have continue to make significant contributions to British society. After graduating from The University of Creative Arts Epsom, Tihara showcased her Windrush-inspired graduate collection. Being passionate about design, the Caribbean and sharing the Windrush story, she strives to create distinctive pieces that allow people to have a little piece of the Caribbean.
